Wavlink AC2100 Mesh Wifi vs Deco vs Meshforce

There are always coming new products that offer products with higher specs and features that are sometimes richer than products that have been around on the market from well known vendors, and the prices offered are cheaper than popular products that already exist in the market. This time Wavlink offers a Mesh wifi system product with AC2100 at a price below $ 200 for three mesh nodes.

Wavlink WN552

Besides the previous AC1200-based models, this time Wavlink offers a new mesh wifi system product with simultaneous dual band ac2100 with a slightly different body model than the previous square-shaped body, this time the ac2100 version is designed with a triangular cylindrical model and looks more elegant with patented touchlink technology for easy client’s connection.

AC2100

By increasing the bandwidth one step higher compared to competing products such as Meshforce m3s and also the Tp-link Deco P9 which are both based on ac1200, and the price offered is more economical in its class this will certainly attract customers with low budget to consider this product.

With mesh technology and wifi backhaul links between nodes that will share with the connected devices, of course with a total bandwidth of 2100Mbps will be more advantages than other similar products based on ac1200 that also share backhaul links and connected users. And Wavlink with 4×4 MU-MIMO @ 5GHz radio band completes every radio stream with high gain 3dBi antennas as well as 2×2 MIMO @ 2.4GHz with 2x 3dBi Omni directional antennas ensure a strong and solid signal covering the entire rooms of your home.

Touchlink technology

One thing that also makes it easier for you to share wifi internet with your guests when there is a meeting or party at home, then you don’t have to share your user name and password to each of your guests who want to share your internet connection via your WiFi network, just bring your mobile device closer to Wavlink unit and press on it to get your wifi network connection, without having to share user-names and passwords which is often a troublesome job.

Port interfaces

And to add value to the products offered, Wavlink complements one gigabit Ethernet port more than Deco P9 and Meshforce M3s. You can hack the Ethernet port as a wired backhaul link even though Wavlink actually provides a wireless backhaul link share together with connected devices. In addition to more Ethernet ports, Wavlink also complements USB 2.0 port for your sharing USB storage and other media shares. Compare with Deco and Meshforce M3, both of which are not equipped with USB ports.

When compared to Deco P9, there is apparent difference between Wavlink (and also Meshforce m3s) and Deco P9. Tp Link Deco P9 uses Powerline as backhaul link rather than wifi or Ethernet backhaul. With powerline backhaul link will free the two radio bands specifically for connected devices, no shared bandwidth for backhaul link needs like Meshforce and deco.
