Vanin RX4-1500 ax1500 vs Archer AX10
When Meshforce kicked off the mesh wifi system market with its Meshforce M1 and Meshforce M3s products with affordable price and it is now getting popular products, at the same time a wifi 6 router product in the low end class was introduced by Vanin, the Vanin RX4-1500. TP Link also does not want to be left behind, it also introduces the wifi 6 router series in the low end class – Archer AX10 wifi ax1500 router in addition of middle class TP-link Archer AX3000 wifi 6 router and the other Archer AX6000 and AX11000 routers. How do these two ax1500 wifi router products compete in the market?
Vanin RX4-1500 vs Archer AX10
Both of these Vanin RX4-1500 and Archer ax1500 products target the market for those who want to experience how good the 6th generation wifi technology is, even in the lowest network segment in the wifi 6 technology. As is the case with wireless ac1200 routers, for those who used to use wireless n-based routers (802.11n ) then try to buy a wifi ac1200 router for the needs of a small house is very adequate.
Is there any spec differences between the two similar wifi 6 ax1500 routers? Technically both routers should be the same, the same wifi 6 technology at the ax1500 network segment.
Now take a look at the following spec comparison table to help you see the differences (if any). See that there is no significant differences.
Same technical specs?
Both Vanin and Archer AX1500 routers work at the same ax1500 network segment, delivering speeds of up to 1200Mbps @5Ghz band plus up to 300Mbps @2.4Ghz band. Both have the same number of Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4x Gigabit LAN ports for wired Ethernet-based devices and 1x Gigabit WAN port for connecting to your Gigabit capable cable modem such as Surfboard sb6186 or sb6190, or high speed Netgear CM1000 DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem.
Number of external antennas is also the same, but wait, see that Vanin offers high gain antennas. Each of 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz antennas come with 5dBi high gain antennas. On the other hand, TP-link archer comes with standard 2~3dBi Omni-directional antennas.
The newest wifi technology is marked with WPA3, the next generation and the strongest wifi security technology which is now applied to few wifi routers including Vanin, however Archer AX10 is still not yet using this WPA3.
Table 1 Vanin vs Archer ax1500
|Model||Vanin RX4-1500 With OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology||TP Link Archer AX10 with MU-MIMO technology|
|Wifi technology||Wifi ax1500 dual band||Wifi ax1500 dual band|
|Wifi speeds||Up to 1200Mbps @5Ghz Up to 300Mbps @2.4Ghz||Up to 1200Mbps @5Ghz Up to 300Mbps @2.4Ghz|
|Antennas||Two (2) external 2.4G-band Omni antennas 5dBi Two (2) external 5G-band Omni antennas 5dBi||4x Fixed Omni-directional beamforming antennas|
|Ethernet Ports||1 × 1000/100/10 Mbps WAN Port 4 × 1000/100/10 Mbps LAN Ports||1 × 1000/100/10 Mbps WAN Port 4 × 1000/100/10 Mbps LAN Ports|
|Processor||Broadcom’s Tree-core 1.5GHz 64-bit processor||1.5GHz triple-core CPU with 256 MB RAM; 16 MB Flash|
|WPA3 security ready||Yes||Not yet, probably next firmware upgrade|
So both of them have the same technical specs except the antenna designs on Vanin that come with high gain 5dBi antennas in each band and maybe the prices are almost the same, because the price usually depends on how popular the product is. Usually more popular, prices usually last for some time or bit less than the original factory price.
