To compare these two products from a technical perspective, we need to examine their specifications and features.

Netgear RS700 Wifi 7 Router
Body Design

The Archer series has a unique body style compared to other Archer wifi 6 routers series, which typically have external antennas. Instead, all Archer wifi 7 routers feature a tower form factor with an array of internal antennas. The Archer BE900, for example, comes with 12 internal antennas that are strategically positioned for optimal signal transmission and reception. Another stylist design is the addition of Touch screen and LED screen.

Netgear’s debut wifi 7 router, the Nighthawk RS700, also features a tower form factor, which is different from their previous wifi 6 models that were flat with left and right wings. Tower models tend to take up less space on a surface but are taller in height.

Table 2 below shows you spec comparison between TP-link Archer BE900 and Netgear Nighthawk RS700 Wifi 7 routers.

Bandwidth Capacity

The Archer BE900 features quad-band technology with a total aggregated bandwidth capacity of up to 24,000Mbps. In contrast, Netgear’s Nighthawk RS700, as its debut product in wifi 7 technology, offers aggregated bandwidth of up to 19,000Mbps with three radio bands, with one band at 5GHz reduced to 5.8Gbps. As a result, the Archer BE900’s quad-band technology has the potential for higher overall speeds and the ability to connect to more devices than the Nighthawk RS700’s tri-band technology.
