Still no idea what a dual core processor is the Chip used in Archer CR700. However, Netgear uses Intel Puma 6 which is designed specifically for smart home gateway. Puma 6 SoC adheres to DOCSIS 3.0 that is designed to reach up to 1.32Gbps downstream speed combining 24 channel bonding and up to 320Mbps upstream by combining 8 channel bonding. It also supports dual band wireless MIMO connectivity. Netgear C6300 uses 16 channel bonding downstream delivering speeds up to 680Mbps, so does Archer. Surfboard SBG6782 is engineered using 8x channel bonding for speeds up to 340Mbps.
