TP-link Archer C60 Vs Asus RT-ACRH13
TP-link introduces various models of midrange wireless AC1350 routers including Archer C58, Archer C59 and Archer C60 in addition of existing wireless AC1200 router. Those products boost the 2.4Ghz band up to 450Mbps instead of 300Mbps.
Archer C58, C59 and C60
All the three models of Archer C58, C59 and C60 are based on wireless AC1350 in addition of existing wireless AC1200 routers such as TP-link Archer C5 and Archer C1200 router. See also most popular AC1200 routers.
What these Archer series router do?
They deliver dual band speeds of up to 867Mbps @5Ghz band and up to 450Mbps @2.4Ghz band instead of normally up to 300Mbps in AC1200 routers. In high end routers, the speed @2.4Ghz band can be boosted up to 1,000Mbps with NitroQAM (1024-QAM) technology such as TP-link Archer AC5400, Asus and Netgear as well as Linksys AC5400 router.
For standard internet tasks such as email, browsing, social media you can connect @2.4Ghz band while for video streaming and online gaming connect @5Ghz band for cleaner band. For demanding high intensive bandwidth applications for large home you may consider mesh home wifi system such as Luma and Orbi mesh home system, Ubiquiti Amplifi HD mesh home, or you may consider popular Linksys Velop and still more.
So what are the differences between the three models of Archer C58, C59 and C60? The main apparent differences are antennas design and port interfaces as shown at the following comparison table 1.
See that TP-link Archer C60 comes with five external antennas which are designed innovatively and arranged alternately to optimize dual band wifi and to maximize the coverage. The other two models come with 3x dual band high gain 5dBi antennas.
All the models come with fast Ethernet ports and only C59 comes with 1x USB 2.0 port. With fast Ethernet (10/100Mbps) is enough for wired connection to laptops or desktop for normal bandwidth demand, unless you require Gigabit ports that mostly embedded in high performance routers such as TP-link Archer C2600 or probably you require 8 gigabit ports Linksys AC5400.

Now, let’s focus on TP-link Archer C60. As general the following list highlight the features of Archer C60.
- Based on wireless AC1350 technology
- Dual band with speeds of up to 867Mbps @5Ghz and up to 450Mbps @2.4Ghz
- Five external antennas, 3x 2.4Ghz antennas and 2x 5Ghz antennas
- 4x 10/100Mbps LAN ports and 1x 10/100Mbps WAN port
- 1x guest network each band
TP-link Archer C60 is ideal for homes to accommodate couples of laptop, desktop and your mobile devices either Android or iOS based devices. With guest network each band you can isolate your local private network from your guests that still get access to internet.
TP-link Archer C60 Vs Asus ACRH13
Like TP-link with C60, Asus offers similar router with AC1300 network segment – Asus RT-ACRH13 wireless AC1300 router. Which one is more valuable to meet your need? Now take a look at the following spec comparison table 2 between Archer C60 and RT-ACRH13.
Both C60 and RT-ACRH13 deliver the same speeds @5Ghz band and slightly different speeds @2.4Ghz band. The best thing with Asus RT-ACRH13 is the MU-MIMO technology that is the only wireless router in AC1300 network segment that come with MU-MIMO technology. MU-MIMO technology sends data to multiple clients simultaneously not one device to another that just creates network bottleneck. All high end wireless routers ranges from AC2400 up to AC5400 and even wireless AD based router such as TP-link Talon AD7200 and Netgear Nighthawk X10 come with MU-MIMO technology.
