Rock Space AC1200 mesh
Rock Space mesh wifi system is designed in a polished cube box in black, contrasting with the colors decorating your home that is mostly white or light color. Performance is arguably very good considering the price offered cheaper than most mesh wifi products available in the market from well known vendors such as Netgear, Asus or Linksys. But today the price is almost the same as TP-link Deco M5 series.
Value for money
A lower price strategy without sacrificing performance is also carried out by Meshforce when it first released Meshforce M1 which was then arguably successful in the market and followed by the next version with better range performance and gigabit wired speed – the Meshforce M3.
So far, the customer rating in Amazon is around 4.5 out of 5 star with good appreciation for easy to install, good wifi signal performance, and value for money.
By entering a large market segment for the AC1200 network segment for the needs of small to medium sized houses, certainly Rock Space is not easy to get past the success that has been achieved by large vendors who have already enlivened the market of mesh wifi systems such as Google’s wifi mesh system, Amazon eero whole home system and also TP-link Deco M5 which also based on AC1300 mesh wifi system.
If Rock Space as a newcomer offers top class products amid the emerging mesh-wifi system based on wifi-6 technology will certainly be difficult. Customers will see the performance of vendors on their products in the AC1200 class if you want to switch to a wifi 6 mesh system product. You can see how successful Netgear with its Netgear with its Orbi RBK842 wifi 6 system, or Linksys with its Velop MX10 mesh wifi 6 system, and still wondering how Asus will be successful with its Asus Zenwifi XT8 wifi 6 mesh and its AC model Asus CT8 mesh wifi system.
Like Meshforce M3, and also Deco M5 the prices are not so high like others, you may compare with new comer Google Nest wifi which is tagged with higher price than Deco, Meshforce M3 and this Rock Space you may be wonder how they compare each other.
