Powerful Linksys EA9300 vs Netgear vs Asus

In addition of Linksys EA9500 wireless AC5400 router with three band technology, Linksys introduces new model of three band router – Linksys EA9300 wireless AC4000 router with MU-MIMO and powerful hardware that is ready to compete with other products including Netgear AC5300 (R8500) and Asus AC5400 routers.

What this product does

At a glance physically you’ll find it is similar model with its predecessor Linksys EA9500 wireless AC5400 router except different number of external antennas. Linksys EA9300 is equipped with less number of external antennas (4x antennas) than its senior EA9500 which is with 8 antennas.

Three band

Linksys 9300 is like 9500 which is three band router but different speeds if you compare with 9500. 9300 delivers slightly slower speeds in all its three band, it’s based on AC4000 which delivers speeds of up to N750 + AC1625 and AC1625. Compare with EA9500 which delivers speeds of up to AC5400 which is N1000 + AC2165 and +AC2165, and so do with Netgear R8500 Nighthawk X8 and Asus AC5300 routers.

Powerful hardware

You can say that the speeds are less bandwidth than Linksys EA9500, however the hardware performance of 9300 is more powerful than 9500 router. The predecessor Linksys EA9500 is just powered by dual core processor, EA9300 is powered by 1.8Ghz quad core processor and 3 offload processors to assure you have the three fast lanes of wifi bands up to 4.0Gbps.

You may compare it with Netgear E8500 which is only powered by 1.4Ghz dual core processor, and so do Asus RT-AC5300 router and Netgear X8.
