Mercku M6 Ax1800 Mesh Wifi vs Deco X20 vs Asus Xd4 Which One is Best Value

Mercku introduces new series of mesh wifi system base on latest wifi-6 technology – the Mercku M6 mesh wifi. How will this product compete with other similar products such as Asus Xd4 and TP-link Deco X20?

Mercku M6

Mercku, probably you’ve just heard of this brand. Yes, because Mercku is actually a new networking product’s vendor founded around 2017 in Canada which now has global offices in Canada, Germany and China. Today you can find more startups with their competing products in the market including Meshforce with its Meshforce m3 and the latest product Meshforce M7. The eero originally was startup product and has been acquired by Amazon with its latest product is eero 6 and eero 6 Pro mesh wifi.

Mercku M6 is designed with very stylist tower model with a beautiful curved body casing and comes with three color options  black, white and red which is very attractive compared to other router products in the market so far which mostly dominated with black and white colors.

Wifi 6 AX1800

Previously Mercku released few models of mesh wifi systems including Mercku M2 (as the Queen) with its Bee’s satellite, and with couple of combinations between the Queen and the bees you may found in the market. Today you can find new release of Mercku M6 mesh wifi based on latest wifi-6 technology.

Entry Level

Mesh ax1800 wifi 6 products are the most widely available in the market so far, which are released by almost all vendors, including startup products. This Ax1800 is the lowest network segment on wifi-6 technology, the same as ac1200 on wifi-5.

Why is this ax1800 worth having even though most of the wifi devices in our homes are still based on wireless ac? All wifi technologies from the latest generation will always be backward compatible with previous generation technologies, so that your investment products with future technology can be guaranteed to compatible with previous versions.

Mercku’s debut in wifi-6 technology is represented with its Mercku M6 ax1800 mesh wifi router like other ax1800 mesh wifi products including Asus xd4 mini and TP-link Deco x20.

Mercku M6 vs Asus vs Deco

How can this product compete with several similar products on the market so far such as the Asus xd4 mini and the Deco x20?

All the three products are designed with the same ax1800 wifi-6 technology; each radio band delivers the same wifi speed technically.

High gain antennas

Mercku M6 comes with patented WHEMS high gain antenna, the internal antenna design with 5dBi high gain antenna; that is strong enough to cover up to 3,000 sq ft each unit. In general, most internal antennas are usually designed with standard 2 or 3 dBi gain. You can compare that with the Deco x20 which can only cover up to 4,800 sq ft for 3 nodes. While Asus xda covers up to 4,800 sq ft for 3 nodes. Note that those are technical coverage; they might be different in the real world.
