Linksys mr8300 vs Asus vs Deco

Now we compare this product with two other products namely Asus rt-ac86u and tp-link deco m4.

Asus AiMesh AC86U

In terms of speed, the network segment between the Linksys ac2200 tri band and the Asus AC2900 is dual band is different, please refer to table 1. Asus at 5GHz speeds up to 2Gbps, compare the two bands @ 5GHz on Linksys which is only up to 867Mbps.

Take a look at table 2 in the comparison of Linksys mr8300 vs tp-link deco m4, at the same price you have got a 3-set deco m4 mesh wifi system that can cover your home area of 5,500 sq ft twice as wide as the mr8300 coverage. With mr8300, to get the same coverage you need two Linksys velop wall plugs model.

The number of Ethernet ports is also more on 3-set deco m4, but Deco is not equipped with a USB port that on Linksys has feature to be able to share USB disk storage or printer sharing.

If you are a gamer in mind then Asus RT-AC86U is good with the game boosting feature, while 3 sets of deco can cover as much as 2 times the range that can be given by mr8300.
