Which do you prefer between new generations of Belkin wireless ac1750 and Linksys EA6500 routers?


Even though Belkin has acquired Linksys, both Belkin and Linksys routers are not merged into a single brand. Each of them has their own brand, Linksys and Belkin wireless routers and accessories. Various new models of wireless router with latest generation of wifi technology have been released to the market ranging from wireless ac900 to wireless ac1900.

Up to this article is written, Belkin doesn’t release the fastest version of wireless ac1900 but Linksys does with its EA6900 wireless ac1900 router. So far Belkin offers new generation of Belkin AC1750 router. On the other hand, Netgear also releases new R7000 wireless ac1900 router like its competitor EA6900. Wifi technology

Most router vendors come with wireless ac1750 at the first time they introduce the wireless router based on 802.11ac – delivering total speeds of up to 1750Mbps, 450Mbps in 2.4GH band and up to 1300Mbps in 5GHz band. Later they come with various models of router with different wireless ac speeds ranging from wireless ac900 to wireless ac1900.

Belkin F9K1115 wireless ac1750 DB comes with exclusive high power SmartBeam antenna technology, I think this is similar with other Beamforming antenna applied by high end routers including the newer Linksys EA6900 AC1900 router, or Netgear R700 and Asus AC68U. Beamfoarming broadcast signal to any directions like Omni but it finds and locks wifi clients so they connect solidly. EA6500 doesn’t come with beamforming antenna like it does in EA6900 but SpeedBoost high power antenna arrays.
