Azores AX1800 Mesh wifi vs Meshforce M7 vs D-Link
New comer Azores releases another series of mesh AX1800 wifi-6 router in addition of Azores AX1500 mesh wifi. How does this product compete with D-Link Lx1870 and another new comer Meshforce M7 mesh wifi?
Azores wifi-6 routers
For residential and small office applications, both models of Azores mesh wifi-6 routers are appropriate knowing the products perform well for any applications of wifi connection including 4k streaming and online gaming.
What is the difference?
There two models that Azores offers, the Azores ax1500 and Azores ax1800. At a glance you can notice that Azores ax1500 comes with white color, while the ax1800 comes with matte black.

Network segment
Technically the main difference between the two models is the network segment each model works; see the following spec comparison table 1 below. The first model is Azores ax1500 which speed @2.4GHz is 300Mbps, while Azores ax1800 the speed @2.4GHz band is 600Mbps. While the speed at 5GHz band is the same, 2×2 MIMO @1,200Mbps like other mesh wifi-6 ax1800 routers including D-Link lx1870.
Azores reduces the number of Ethernet LAN ports from 4x Gigabit WAN/LAN ports (ax1500) to only two Gigabit WAN/LAN ports on Azores ax1800.

Azores ax1800 is sold with affordable price for wifi-6 mesh router and is ideal for homes for any sizes compared with its competing product D-Link lx1870 ax1800 mesh router and the three-band Meshforce M7 ac2100 mesh wifi. This product is tagged with the price around $171.00 (2-pack) in Amazon.
Azores ax1800 vs D-link vs Meshforce m7
Both Azores ax1800 and D-link Lx1870 are technically the same which each model works at the same ax1800 network segment. However, Meshforce is a simultaneous tri-band AC2100 mesh wifi and one of 5GHz radio band is used as dedicated backhaul link between nodes.

Hardware
Most internal antennas are designed with standard gain around 2~3dBi antenna gain. Azores comes with high gain @5dBi dual band antennas and covers up to 3,000 sq ft technically. A single D-link ax1800 technically covers up to 3,000 sq ft; the real world would be different with written specs due to many obstacles that may exist.
Meshforce m7 also comes with 4x internal antennas and covers up to 2,000 sq ft each unit, and the number of Ethernet is 3x Gigabit ports.
Backhaul
All the three mesh wifi models support wired Ethernet backhaul to free up all the other radio bands for connected devices.
