If you opt for the two-pack model, choosing a dedicated backhaul at 4800Mbps might seem excessive, leaving only 1200Mbps + 600Mbps for connected clients. Alternatively, selecting 1200Mbps as the dedicated backhaul allows the other two bands at 4800Mbps + 600Mbps to cater to connected devices, which is also a good configuration. However, in the case of the three-pack kit, the 1200Mbps backhaul might prove insufficient, particularly with a high client density.
Recognizing this weakness, Asus introduced the ZenWiFi XT9 to address the backhaul method. The XT9 offers improved options, including a 4800Mbps dedicated backhaul, wired backhaul, and an automatic backhaul setting. This automatic backhaul option is also available on the latest Asus ZenWiFi series, such as the Asus ZenWiFi ET8 and Asus ZenWiFi ET12.
With the auto backhaul system, the XT9 provides the most suitable backhaul link under various conditions. In my opinion, the auto option proves to be the best choice when uncertainty exists regarding the system’s bandwidth requirements under different conditions. The best part is that the system handles this automatically.

The good thing with asus xt9 is that it comes with more ethernet ports than deco, moreover it also comes with one latest usb 3.2 port to allow you to host usb hard disk storage for network sharing. Usb port can also be used as dual wan when you insert usb cellular modem dongle as failover internet or load balance internet. Deco xe75 doesn’t come with usb port, and the ethernet ports are only three as opposed to four in xt9.
