Now take a look at the following spec comparison table between Asus rt-ax56u and tp link archer ax10 wifi 6 routers.

Wifi technology

Asus provides a slightly higher speed in the 2.4GHz band compared to other router products in the ax1500 network segment, which is 574Mbps rather than 300Mbps as in the Archer ax10 and also in Vanin. However, at 5GHz speed band is the same at 1200Mbps.

Of course, the connected WiFi clients must use the WiFi 6 adapter as well to be able to get the speed specified on the product’s technical spec. See also some models of wifi 6 adapters.

In general wifi router antennas use Omni directional antennas where the antenna emits signals and transmits energy in all directions. The two products also use Omni directional antennas, only different in number. Archer with 4 antennas ensure signals are emitted in all directions more strongly and cover a wider area.

Antenna ensures to eliminate the dead spot area, the higher the gain the stronger and the wider the signal range.

The types of processor that is embedded into each router can provide a significant difference to the performance of a wifi router. The more the number of CPU cores in the processor the more tasks that can be processed and faster.

Note that the Archer ax10 only uses a tri-core processor, compared with the processor embedded in the Asus rt-ax56u, quad core processor with Flash and RAM memory with more capacity than the memory used in the Archer ax1500.

Of course Asus does provide additional features in the form of a free lifetime AiProtection which is an internet threat protection system, of course, requires a larger processor and more memory processing as well.
