Asus Acrh13 Vs Linksys Vs Netgear

Competition for middle class wireless routers under $100 is very tightened knowing that consumers in this market segment is very big. Asus and other networking vendors target this market segment with couple of wireless AC router models.

Asus RT-ACRH13

Asus introduces RT-ACRH13 wireless AC1300 router with MU-MIMO technology.

What this product does

Unlike other wireless AC1200 routers such as Linksys EA6350 and Archer C1200, Asus RT-ACRH13 is designed with four external antennas like those wireless AC2400 based wireless routers such as Asus RT-AC87U, EA8350 and Nighthawk X4. With four external antennas, this product solid and promising for larger coverage.

AC1300

Like other wireless AC1200 in general such as Netgear R6220 and Linksys EA6350, Asus RT-ACRH13 is based on wireless AC1200 plus TurboQAM technology to boost the wireless 802.11n up to 400 Mbps instead of standard 300Mbps. So that’s why this product is known as Wireless AC1300 router delivering speeds of up to 867Mbps @5Ghz and up to 400Mbps @2.4Ghz with TurboQAM technology.

For medium home, this is ideal router to support multiple mobile devices including laptop and mobile devices either Android or iOS based devices.

MU-MIMO

MU-MIMO (multi user MIMO) technology allows the router to send streams of data to multiple devices at the same time, simultaneous data to multiple devices for faster data rate throughput instead of sending data to multiple devices one by one that contributes network bottleneck. This MU-MIMO feature is typically applied to high end wireless routers and wave 2 wifi AC such as Asus RT-AC88U wireless AC3100 router or new Linksys WRT AC3200 router.

The new era of home wifi routers, the mesh wifi systems few of them come with this high performance feature MU-MIMO. You can mention Orbi mesh system by Netgear, Linksys Velop mesh system, and new Portal wave 2 mesh wifi system all of these three mesh wifi systems come with MU-MIMO technology.

With MU-MIMO technology Asus RT-ACRH13 is one of best wireless AC1200 routers available in the market today. See also top 5 Wifi AC1200 routers.

Processor

And this is fantastic, Asus RT-ACRH13 is built with high speed quad core A7 processor instead of dual core processor. Couple of model wireless routers come with quad core processor such as Netgear Nighthawk X10 AD7200 router and Linksys Velop mesh wifi system.

You may compare with other competing products such as Netgear R6220 which is still based on 880Mhz processor, have no idea with Linksys EA6350 guess it is dual core processor like other Linksys AC routers.
