Archer TX3000e Wireless AX3000 Adapter
Wifi6 technology has been widely applied to wifi routers including mesh wifi systems, ranging from ax1500 network segment with four streams up to the current highest level is ax11000 with 12-streams. Mostly all networking vendors who produce network devices such as wireless routers and mesh wifi systems release wifi routers or mesh wifi systems by implementing the latest wifi-6 (802.11ax) technology.
However, this is not accompanied by the availability of wifi-6 adapters for optimum data throughput, even though all wifi 5 adapter devices can connect to wifi 6 routers because every emergence of the latest wifi technology must have backward compatibility feature with previous wifi technology.
One of wifi-6 adapters released into the market early in 2020 is introduced by TP-Link; the Archer TX3000e even though few months’ earlier couples of vendors released similar products to the market with the same wifi 6 technology. See also popular wireless ax adapters in the market.
What this product does
If you want to get the maximum throughput from your desktop computer to connect to your wifi router at home that already uses wifi 6 technology, for example TP-link Archer ax11000 tri-band gaming router, or the lower model is TP-link Archer ax6000 router, or Asus Rog ax11000 wireless gaming router, then it’s a good idea to upgrade your desktop wifi adapter with the Archer TX3000e wireless ax3000 adapter.
Ax3000 dual band
TP-link Archer Tx3000e is a dual band wifi 6 PCI-e adapter based on AX3000 network segment delivering wifi speeds of up to 2,400Mbps @5GHz radio band and up to 600Mbps @ 2.4 GHz radio band. Even though TP-link doesn’t specify the data streams but it says it supports MU-MIMO, I convince that this product uses 2×2 MU-MIMO technology. So when two desktop computers with each comes with Archer TX3000e adapter connects to 4×4 MU-MIMO wifi 6 router such as Archer AX6000 router, or connect to D-link Dir-x5460 router, technically the router can send two 2-streams data to those two desktops simultaneously assuring that no or less network latency.
Since this Archer Tx3000e is based on ax3000 network segment, make sure that you connect to the same or higher network segment for optimum data throughput. If your current wifi-6 router is based on lower speed such as Linksys mr7350 which is based on ax1800 network segment, your Archer tx3000e doesn’t receive optimum data throughput from the router.
Besides the wifi adapter, the Archer Tx3000e wireless ax3000 adapter is also integrated with Bluetooth 5.0 (BT 5.0) which allows the connection of more devices to your desktop including headphones, Bluetooth keyboards, Bluetooth speakers, etc. BT 5.0 provides twice as fast speed and 4 times wider coverage than BT 4.2 technology.

Please note that this product is for desktop computers with PCI-e slot available, and the bad thing is that you have to uncover the computer case to install the Archer Tx3000e wireless ax adapter. This product is tagged under $50 in Amazon (Aug 2020).
Another model is also introduced by Ubit, the Ubit Ax200 wireless 6 adapter.
If you look at the similar product with cheaper budget, even though it differs by around $ 10, then you may consider a similar Archer Tx3000 product as discussed above, namely the Ubit Ax200. The Ax200 tiles are almost the same as the TP-link product above, but there are few minor differences.
Firstly, antenna design is different. Ubit Ax200 wireless ax adapter comes with two high gain 6dBi detachable antennas as opposed with Archer Tx3000e that comes with two 5dBi high gain antennas with magnetic base. Secondly, the difference is about WPA3 wireless security encryption which is still OS pending. Archer Tx3000 is WPA3 compliant already.
All other spec and features including wireless ax3000 technology applied, the Bluetooth 5.0 technology, MU-MIMO and OFDMA support, and the same Intel Chipset etc. This product is released earlier than Archer tx3000 and is tagged with cheaper price around $38 in Amazon.
